EWG Control – Bor Extract from the APR hereinafter EWG doo Belgrade – EWGControl - Bor) is an organizational part of the company EWG doo Belgrade accredited by the decision of the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS, www.ats.rs ), no. 159/2024 dated 28.02.2024, (Certificate with scope of accreditation ( Certificate ) as a type C inspection body according to the SRPS ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard. It is intended to provide inspection services – conformity assessment of electricity meters, including meters produced by EWG doo Belgrade (in-house production) as well as meters from other domestic and foreign manufacturers.
The EWG doo Belgrade – EWGControl - Bor type C inspection body is equipped and intended for measuring electrical and physical quantities of meters, inspection, control, and verification (stamping) of meters.
By the decision of the Directorate for Measures and Precious Metals (Ministry of Economy) no. 393-4/1-02-1068/1 dated 20.05.2024. ( DMDM - Decision on renewal of authorization ) ), the EWG doo Belgrade – EWGControl – Bor inspection body is authorized to perform verification of electronic meters of active and reactive electricity – single-phase and three-phase meters for both direct and semi-indirect and indirect connection. It performs first periodic and extraordinary verification of meters. The inspection body possesses all the necessary resources to meet the requirements of the SRPS ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard, ATS requirements, applicable laws, and regulations that ensure the delegation of first periodic and extraordinary inspection and verification (stamping) of meters by the Directorate for Measures and Precious Metals (DMDM, www.dmdm.rs ).
In accordance with the Quality Policy of the company EWG doo Belgrade, the Quality Policy of the EWG doo Belgrade – EWGControl – Bor inspection body ( Quality Policy KT) and the Law on Standardization, the inspection body is accredited by ATS for the inspection of electronic meters for measuring active and reactive electricity (single-phase and three-phase meters of the measuring group for direct, semi-indirect, and indirect measurement).

The quality of services, accuracy, and reliability of test results is achieved through consistent application of good laboratory practice principles, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality System according to the requirements of the SRPS ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and SRPS ISO 9001:2015 standards, in compliance with the rules and under the supervision of the DMDM. This includes initial (factory) inspection of meters, periodic inspection after the expiration of the stamp validity, and extraordinary inspection after meter repair.
The request for meter verification (OB.093) can be downloaded here. After reviewing the Verification Request by the KT management, the applicant receives a service offer ( KT Service Price List). If the terms of the offer are agreed upon, the applicant signs a contract for meter inspection services.
The applicant for meter inspection services is required to pay the republic administrative fee (tariff number 1) in the amount that can be seen on the DMDM website at the following link.
Meters brought for inspection must be cleaned and prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions, technically correct, complete with all associated parts, must function in accordance with the prescribed metrological requirements, and must be in a condition that allows for unhindered inspection and stamping.
